What Is FASTag?

How FASTag work?
- Get a FASTag: You can purchase a FASTag from authorized banks, Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals at toll plazas, or online through various platforms.
- Link it to your account: Choose a prepaid or savings account to link to your FASTag.
- Affix the tag: Stick the FASTag sticker on your vehicle’s windshield, following the recommended placement instructions.
- Drive through: As you approach a toll plaza lane designated for FASTag, your tag will be read by an RFID reader, and the corresponding toll amount will be automatically deducted from your linked account. You’ll receive an SMS or email notification for each transaction.

- Log-in to any BHIM UPI application
- Click on “send” to initiate the transaction
- Put “netc.vehiclenumber@bankupihandle” in send to tab
- Verify the UPI ID
- Add the amount you want to recharge and then authenticate with your PIN
- For a successful UPI recharge:
- Verify your vehicle number.
- Choose the right bank’s UPI handle from the list.
- Double-check the UPI ID before confirming.
